Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the greatest and most rich Reggae Singers. In the classic cult movie Shottas the actor starred alongside Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album, Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae single) and Who The Cap (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the growing recognition of his new generation reggae music. Ky-Mani performed with Praswell from Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997, which was an incredibly hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem which is an international concert held in Miami. Marley did a live performance in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley was involved at the center of a bidding contest. He was signed to Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997. He then completed a collaboration with label mate P.M. Dawn who recorded the track"Gotta Be Movin' On Up. The wife of Bob Marley Anita Belnavis, a table tennis champion, is his only parent. Ky-Mani Marley has been named one of Jamaica's most wealthy Reggae artists. According to Business Insider and Wikipedia's report Ky-Mani Marley's worth is $5M. His mother encouraged her son to study piano and guitar.
